Ukulady Show

On Thursday, July 19th the Ukulady entertained us with funny songs and taught us about "Friend Hearts". It was great fun!

The Ukulady wants to entertain You on Thursday, July 19th at 6:00 with comedy and songs. The Ukulady has been seen in the New York Times, on the Today Show and heard on NPR radio. 
Come early, you will not want to miss this hilariously funny show.

Franklin Haynes Marrionettes

On Thursday, July 12^th at 6:00 the Buena Park Library will present Franklin Haynes Marionettes. Children and their grown-ups are invited to watch this entertaining show as Princess Rachel’s brother John and his trusty pirate dog try to free Princess Rachel from Pirate Captain Cannonball’s Skull Island.  Come early, you will not want to miss pirate puppets that juggle, blow bubbles, walk on stilts, and do other pirate mischief.

This show is free, but seating is limited to the first 250 people.

Flights of Fantasy Story Theatre

The funny and very entertaining ladies of Flights of Fantasy Story Theatre are going to perform for children and their grown-ups Thursday, June 28th at 6:00. Come early to get your ticket; this show is free, but seating is limited.

Summer Reading Program Kick-off Celebration

Join us today from 2:00 - 4:00 for the Children’s Summer Reading Program  Kick-off Celebration.    We will have balloons, face painting, music, cotton candy, snow cones, lots of games, and a whole lot of FUN. 

Asian Heritage Craft Program

Children and their grown-ups are invited to join us on Saturday, May 19th at 2:30 for an afternoon of Asian crafts and fun. This program is free.

Makinto

Children and their grown-ups are invited to join us on Wednesday, April 25th at 6:30 as we celebrate Dia de los Ninos/ Dia de los Libros, Day of the Child/ Day of the Book with a special performance by Makinto. Makinto is an international performer and will present a musical theatre program for children and their grown-ups about Hispanic heritage in America. This free performance will have you clapping your hands, tapping your feet, and singing along to music from the Caribbean, Mexico, and South America.

A Wee Bit of Ireland

Children and their grown-ups are invited to join us for a fun-filled, free performance by Ken Frawley on Wednesday, March 14th at 6:30. Ken will be performing his program, "A Wee Bit of Ireland".

A WEE BIT OF IRELAND is a fun-filled look at Irish heritage through stories and songs performed by Ken Frawley. Audiences sing-along, clap-along and move-along to some great old Irish songs like Molly Malone and Hi Ho the Rattlin’ Bog. They will delight in great Irish stories like A Field of Shamrocks and How Jack Became the King of Ireland. Learn about the “Wee People” from a visit by a leprechaun named Shamus O’Monkey.

Dr. Seuss Stories Performed by Duffy Hudson

Children and their grown-ups are invited to enjoy a fast-paced romp through the world of Dr. Seuss as Broadway and screen actor Duffy Hudson presents his one man show, "Dr. Seuss," on Saturday, March 3rd at 11:00.

Celebrate Black History Month

Children and their grown-ups are invited to join us Wednesday, February 15th at 6:30 for a special free performance by Michael McCarty. Michael is a multicultural storyteller of African, African-American and International Folktales. His storytelling style is energetic and enthusiastic.

Fantabulous Friday

Did you have a stressful week at school? Do you need a place to unwind and have fun? If so, join us on Fridays at 3:00 for Fantabulous Fridays. Celebrate the end of the school week with us and play Wii games, board games, create fun crafts and enjoy an afternoon snack.

Origami

Create a winter wonderland and learn the art of Japanese paper folding on Saturday, January 14th at 3:00. This program is free.
