Franklin Haynes Marrionettes

Thursday, July 12th at 6:00 the Buena Park Library will present
Franklin Haynes Marionettes. Children and their grown-ups are invited to watch
this entertaining show as Princess Rachel’s brother John and his trusty pirate
dog try to free Princess Rachel from Pirate Captain Cannonball’s Skull
Island. Come early, you will not want to miss pirate puppets that juggle, blow bubbles, walk on stilts, and do other pirate mischief.
This
show is free, but seating is limited to the first 250 people.

Children and their grown-ups are invited to join us on Wednesday, April 25th at 6:30 as we celebrate Dia de los Ninos/ Dia de los Libros, Day of the Child/ Day of the Book with a special performance by Makinto. Makinto is an international performer and will present a musical theatre program for children and their grown-ups about Hispanic heritage in America. This free performance will have you clapping your hands, tapping your feet, and singing along to music from the Caribbean, Mexico, and South America.

Children and their grown-ups are invited to join us for a fun-filled, free performance by Ken Frawley on Wednesday, March 14th at 6:30. Ken will be performing his program, "A Wee Bit of Ireland".
A WEE BIT OF IRELAND is a fun-filled look at Irish heritage through stories and songs performed by Ken Frawley. Audiences sing-along, clap-along and move-along to some great old Irish songs like Molly Malone and Hi Ho the Rattlin’ Bog. They will delight in great Irish stories like A Field of Shamrocks and How Jack Became the King of Ireland. Learn about the “Wee People” from a visit by a leprechaun named Shamus O’Monkey.
